Which tyres?

I currently run Goodyear wrangler f1 275 40 r20 102w's as they were fitted when I bought the car, unfortunately I now need two new tyres on the front end and apparently Goodyear have changed the tyre? So even with the Goodyear equivalent I will still have tyres with a different tread look (which I really dislike).
Which alternative makes are any good?

Any advise will be great
Thanks Rob

There really are more important things to consider than the look of the tyres but there are plenty of good brands available.

Dunlop (owned by Goodyear), Pirelli, Continental and Michelin are all reputable brands for example. The best thing to do would be to find a selection of tyres you think would be good, and then look up reviews etc. on them - they'll vary by tyre type as much as as by manufacturer. The Goodyear tyres you currently have are incorrectly rated for the vehicle. Should be a load rating of 106 not 102.

As to the alternatives, it rather depends on use and budget... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
