My Lugano Teal TDV8.....
Hi guys! I'm new to the forum.. I'm a member on many other car forums, but this is my first Landrover.. i have always loved the sport but I was originally looking at X5's as on paper they're less problematic, better on fuel etc. I took one out one sunday and was very disappointed, felt too much like a car and was very plasticy. felt just like a jacked up 1 series. I immediately looked autotrader and found this around 80 miles away from the X5 i had just viewed. I rang the dealer, Strattons of worcestershire and he was available for a viewing. When i pulled up i was SOLD! took it for a spin anyway and done a deal.
Within a week, the electric handbrake packed up, the passenger door wouldn't lock, brake lights were stuck on and none of the parking sensors worked. I made a call to the dealer and he agreed to put it into a landrover specialist that he used - Prospect Solihull. £2k (paid for by the dealer) and a week later i had the car back fully working!
Aside from all the agro I must say I'm a definite convert.
Here she is,picked it up on xmas eve 2014 as a present for the wife, 2007 HSE, 1 owner, full history 86k.

I absolutely love it. I've had it for just short of 4 months now and i'm still glad i didn't settle for an X5.
I thought i share my story and the motor and hopefully start contributing to the forum, i do all my own work on my cars, so hopefully i can contribute some write ups.

I'm loving it wrapped up for christmas, no hiding that one under the tree
Nice colour aswell, buckingham blue was my 1st choice but couldn't find the spec I wanted so ended up going for 'typical' black.
