Rrs my16

Had a chat with a sales man today about the 15 to 16 update , with the apps thing I can set my air con by remotely starting the car , this is the end of the auxuillary heater I would guess . You can also flash your lights and sound the horn from your phone , lots of fun to be had here .
There is an diesel additive tank to bring the emissions down , add blue is widely used in hgv and heavy plant , known in the trade as pig Censored it enters the exhaust system at some point to lower the harmful gasses. The system on heavy plant and machinery needs regenerating and can't just be switched off when you stop for dinner , not sure how it will work and a road car.

He went through 75 pages of updates , it's all coming back to me now , the wipers are a lot flatter , the camera was a lot better/ clearer more pixels , the dash lay out was different , paint colours , the ebony ebony had been changed due to customer feedback . The road tax is £225 a year . I think he said the tyre manufacture has changed as well . They are working on a 8 month wait from order to delivery .

Could have been print size as it was from his email. Probably a lot of land rover b s in with it . There did seem to be a lot of svr changes , I think it was mostly colour options for the interior , red black and grey seats if I remember correctly .

You should be ok as long as you haven't passed the point of no return . You would know that , it's the point where they will probably ask you to settle the balance .
All joking aside , would it not be better in the long term to walk away and lose a deposit , reorder and end up with the newer model , it might be worth more than your lost deposit at resale time .

Thanks. I am sure I can delay it enough. It just may be more than enough sadly! I don't want to wait until Christmas Shocked

Around 30 days back I had the lastest model car...I still do until the MY16 is delivered...what makes you guys think that when your cars are delivered JLR won't decide to update yet again!! They seem to be updating these cars a couple of times a year! If you want a car I'd just get one and not wait for the next best thing Wink

You may have your car delivered in Septembe as an MY16 at which time JLR may just decide to announce MY17 or MY16.5! Think about it - values wont be hit so badly until a facelift comes out IMHO. If you look at the RRS market it has remained strong since the early cars with basic HSEs still being sold between £55-£60k and some SEs being sold for more than list price even today!! These SEs were £54k when new and I can't see any for sale below that figure!

Just my 2 pence worth!!
