well just gave the RRS a service + 1st MoT. TBH I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience with Lookers @ Bishops Stortford.

Was hoping for an Evoque as a courtesy car however due to reasons beyond their control they were unable to do this so I had a choice of new Disco Sport or a Jag XF (a real hardship!!). Given that a downsize is one of the reasons for looking to sell the RRS I decided to take the XF for a couple of days... what a perfectly pleasant place to be and a nice experience - albeit different from that in our own car (obviously).

Got our car back a couple of days later with MoT and bill - which wasn't as bad as I had been expecting (no not cheap but certainly not insane for main-dealer prices) and so on to trying to sell

A couple of days for a service & mot  2015 Golf R DSG
Gone 2013 Mercedes C220 CDi AMG Sport Plus
Gone 2008 2.7 RRS HSE

well that's down to me rather than them... I could only get it to them on the Saturday (40 minute journey form us) so in reality the service and MoT only took the standard amount of time (however long that is).

I could have gone to my local dealers but given their attitude when we were looking to buy I'd rather chew my own.... well let's just say it's not going to happen!

TBH as far as I am aware that included their normal 'health check', MoT and courtesy car. I haven't fully checked the bill as it was in line with what I was expecting (actually it was a little cheaper than expected ). I do not doubt that had I taken it to a LR specialist rather than a main dealer that there would have been a fair chunk extra off but they've provided good service to us on another matter so no issues for me
