the idea is, the centre caps are only easy to remove when the wheel is of, as otherwise they are to easy to grab by others...

I find that a small flat head screwdriver will remove them easily without any detrimental effects.

use a plastic sucker like you get on kids toy arrows or for mounting stuff on windscreen; quick clean easy and no damage !!! |

Chris, just checked and yes mine are silver too, I have the caps from the winter wheels I bought for my Evoque and will be putting them in in place of the plain jane silver ones. Thanks for all the tips - will start with the sucker, graduate to the flat head screw driver and then as a last restort take the wheels off, but that sound like a lot of work on a hot evening........... when I should be having a cooling beer. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Don't use a screwdriver, you will mark the wheel. Use a plastic pry-tool instead. Far better though to remove the wheel. Mark

My centres were U/S,as the paint had flaked off because power hose use. So as not to damage wheels. I drilled a small hole in the centre cap and screwed in a srew then just pulled them off itisme |
