Baby locked in rrsport with keys!

Quote:
A police officer smashed into a car to rescue a trapped baby on the hottest day of the year.
The eight-month-old child became stuck in the Range Rover at about 12.30pm today, after the mother accidentally locked her car keys inside.

2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

I've often wondered this when you hear/read about people locking their keys inside the car, ( not just RRS ), how does/can this happen, and I'm not talking about there always being anyone in the car. 2005 Vesuvius 1st edition ( now sadly gone ).

It used to be all too easy:with the door open, lock the door from the inside then close the door whilst holding the flap handle open - then remember that your keys are inside. I didn't think you could do it in an RRS unless, of course, something went wrong and it locked itself.
