Retrofit bluetooth

Hi guys,
I'm new to the site and also to the world of Range Rover,

I've recently bought my car and attempted to connect my phone and several others but couldn't get a Bluetooth connection, pulled the boot trim and there's no module just the radio module, I have the microphone wired in above the interior light and voice control. I have read about land rover part no VUB501152 and thought about getting this installed as I want to keep the car as standard as possible,
Went into dealership today and got quoted Ł269 for the kit but they said this kit probably won't fit as the car has to come pre wired from the factory even though there is wiring with the kit,
I'm looking for some advice on if this kit will actually fit/work and if anyone has done this any tips,

Sorry if this has been answered before I had a quick look through the previous posts but didn't see anything.

Cheers,

Roy

You need to fit the BT module from a D4, it more or less a plug and play kit, you would then need it enabling. Contact Disco_Mikey I am sure he can sort you out.

Did you have any luck with getting this done mate. I'm in the same boat and if this kit does the job, then happy days. I sent Disco-Mikey a PM but he hasn't read it yet.

I wouldn't use that kit tbh, input will work, but you are better off having the d4 module retrofitted. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

So Bodsy, how much am I looking at for you to do that to my car? I was also looking at the mObridge system. That is good but quite pricey.

The Mobridge kit is really quite pricey, you're right.

I'll send you some info. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Bodsy - would you be so kind to include me in your PM regarding BT info? I'm in exactly the same boat as Gary (buttons on the steering wheel, no BT module, no harness visible in the rear right boot area, no I don't want to fork out 300 quid for a M0bridge BT, yes, I've seen Ford Focus BT modules that cost a fraction of LR items and look suspiciously similar). Regards etc.,

Wojtek
