2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
MY08 Warped Privacy Glass

Hiya,

Both rear doors on my 08RRS now have "warped" / melted privacy glass which looks like tiny snakes / earthworms and two circles.

Very strange. Not aware than anything has happened to cause it (ie being near anything hot), I think we may have had a blind on the passenger side attached via a sucker which may explain the circular shapes.

Had anyone experienced anything similar?

Do you know what the warranty is on the glass?

Cheers

Sounds like it might be aftermarket film as Land Rover has always fitted tinted glass as OEM equipment privacy glass. Take a look at the antenna elements on the rear quarter windows and the tailgate glass - the elements are stuck on top of the tinting if OEM Privacy, if aftermarket you will see the film has a tiny airgap each side of the elements. If it is aftermarket film then you should be able to peel it off and replace. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
