Does anyone use RRS2? Went on it when it first opened but not since. This site seems to have plenty of RRS2 traffic so assumed the other site was effectively dead. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

One of the guys on here was very helpful (thanks Viper) there. I am new to JLR so went there first. Sonn discovered much more activity here and my car will hopefully be better as a result.

I too do not go to RRS2 so often as it seems to be only just kicking and I know Martin has been considering closing it down. I noticed that there was a new post in the "everything goes" section and as I watched and my screen refreshed so the posts increased and increased, all being posted by 4 names. I suspect they must be bots or computer generated as each "member" posts a new post then the next member then the next on a rotation. Last time I looked it was up to 1400 posts today! I am the moderator over on BabyRR the Evoque Forum and Martin gave me access to software that can ban the IP address of the computer generating them as we suffered from a lot of them there at one time. Just now that forum is being bombarded by spam of apparrently unemployed Americans claiming to be reliable, trustworth and good workers! They all have links in their posts so are spamming the site. RRS2 and BabyRR use different forum software to RRSport and martin's earlier forums but they also seem to have a loophole in the software that makes them open to abuse by malicious folks. If Martin gave me moderator access with the same "Goodbye to Spammers " software it would take about 3 minutes to get rid of all the sapm posts and ban the spammers from ever posting again on the forum. I hate spammers with a passion as so many of the links lead to malware and phishing websites and depsite all the warnings there are people like my elderly father who cannot resist clicking on the links, sometimes with distaterous results for their computer!
