Thanks man. I'll get on that. And I'll tell the A A guy this too. Is it something you can blank and reset? I'm hoping the aa can fix it with a computer then. |

I was doing a little mucky driving in fields yesterday had it up a few rocky lanes. Lots of muck splashing. I'd left it sitting high suspension alol night. Was only when I put the key in today it went like a winding down alternator sound. Then lit the dash like a Christmas tree now. |

That would make sense.
No. The CANBUS is the system used by the various ECUs around the car to communicate between each other so a diagnostic tool is not able to help. The only thing you can do is to identify the wiring/connector or, much less likely, the module, that's causing it and then fix/replace it. ![]() 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Auto HSE Zambezi Silver ![]() |

Update, the AA guy came out, before he said a thing got out jump leads, made me look a tool. Run first time. But in all my history of cars, this did not sound like a flat battery. He said it was mostly charged, but just not enough to get the engine to turn over. He ran a few battery tests and told me to get a new one come winter.
