Dr Tranny in a MY10 3.0 TDV6?

Hi guys, I wou like to put some Dr Tranny in my transmission but I'm at a bit of a sticky wicket - I don't know how!!

Another thread has posted a pic of where it should go, in the small hose to the right of the radiator. But my engine (2nd pic on its side unfortunately) doesn't have that hose!

Anyone able to tell me how to add it please? And I can't get underneath due to no ramps, a sloping drive and only having the wheel change jack, so it has to be from the top.

Many thanks.

What kind of mileage is on the car ?? if its anywhere near the 60,000 mark i would consider a gearbox flush and get the Dr tranny added at the same time, or if your due a service, get your indie or stealer to add it while its on the ramps.

sooner have it done properly,,,, nowt worse than squirting stuff in the wrong place Thumbs Up 2010 RRS, TDV8

On the 3.0, it has to go in via the gearbox filler plug.

The cooler is down low at the front of the car, and when you disconnect the pipes, you loose a lot of oil and still won't get the additive in Thumbs Up

It's got 63k miles on it. Ok might look at a flush & throw it in at the same time. Thanks for the replies! Current: Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey

i think the gearbox manufacturers recommend a change at 75,000 but your always better off getting it done a little sooner rather than too late 2010 RRS, TDV8

Between 50-75k miles. Less if used off road, or frequently towing Thumbs Up
