Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum as I'm ready to buy my first RRS and would like your opinion.

I am looking to buy an older model - 2005, 2006, 2007 and something around the 100k miles mark.

Firstly, I work from home so I only do around 100 miles per week. With petrol being cheaper than diesel I am torn between which to buy.

I don't mind whether it's an SE or HSE. I was going to opt for the diesel but as I don't do many miles and petrol is cheaper I'm toying with the idea to get the supercharged.

I don't want to end up spending a fortune on petrol though if it is far more thirstier than the diesel.

Any opinions would be much appreciated. Pros and cons .

Petrol will see you in the mid-high teens.
TDV6 is mid-high 20's
TDV8 is low-mid 20's

Don't forget that there is the ultra rare non S/C 4.4 V8 petrol too, you have the very slightly improved fuel consumption over the SC in a car with similar performance to the TDv6. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
