Recommendations where to sell a watch

Many years ago, her indoors inherited an 18ct gold ladies watch, with diamonds, made by Chaumet which we are thinking of selling. I've spoken to a few decent jewellers in Yorkshire but they all suggest that the best market is in London. Any recommendations on watch shops/jewellers in London I ought to speak to ?

I don't have a visa for Yorkshire but I will instruct my agent to collect it from you and deliver it to me in London. However, you must send £200 to me by Western Union to secure the deal first. That will cover my agent's time and travel expenses. Once I receive the watch, I will pay you the full retail price plus the £200. Shall I PM you the details for WU? have you spoken to www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk they have a good reputation for 2nd hand watches, though not sure about the buying them

I was recommended to look at Burlington Arcade. It is an arcade full of high quality pre owned watch shops, might be the place to start the search for a buyer

as i have bought and sold watches with the owner, Syd, over the last 4 years. He came to me through a very good friend.

http://www.watches.co.uk is based in Chiswick and they have a good reputation as well though I have never used them.
Burlington arcade is a good place for watches though never sold there before so cannot comment.

in a nut shell go on websites/ebay and look for your watch and you will get a feel for what its worth. Anyone one looking to buy it from you will do the same thing then take off £££ for their profit.
Why not they and sell it yourself therefore cutting out the middleman 2006 RRS Supercharged 4.2 HST muthuaflecka!
