United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Baltic Blue
The time is fast approaching... help/advise

well back in July '14 we purchased our 2012 RRS HSE and for these past 9ish months we've really enjoyed our stewardship of a magnificent Shocked and, quite frankly, surprisingly good car. However as with all things the time comes to change and we're approaching that stage now Crying or Very sad She who must be obeyed is looking to sell her 2 cars and get one to do all the duties, the issue is that there is sooooo much nice metal out there it's not even funny - the choice is amazing. She loves the 4*4 driving position so that could mean an Evoque/Q3 (a lot more commuting/narrow road friendly), she also likes the A5 cabrio/E220 cabrio/420 cabrio (a bit more fun on a dry day, not that we get many of those!!) or even a nicely specced A4. Decisions, decisions Mr. Green

The question has to be at this point what is it worth? To be honest car values (of all flavours) seem to be all over the place and I'm struggling to figure out what to put it up for... any ideas anyone?

Basic details:

MY2012
24,000
Metallic navy blue exterior/ivory leather interior
being as it's the 12 it's got the 8sp auto and more toys than I know what to do with....

as you might imagine it's not an easy decision to make Big Cry but any and all advise (except "don't sell it!" Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter ) gratefully received

If you are going for a used Evoque steer well clear of any 2014MY 9 Speed auto, they seem to be very troublesome. 2015MY don't suffer the same ECU software problems as the earlier 9 speed autos. Also bear in mind that later this year the Evoque will get it's first big facelift with a new front and headlights and the new Ingenium Diesel engines so expect some good deals on run out Ford/PSA diesel engined cars 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I always do abit of research in the usual places and pitch it towards the top end as you can always come down in price. You may sit on it for a while to get a private sale, otherwise depending if you are in a hurry you can always get bent over by the usual suspects for a quick hassle free sale Rolling with laughter 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

You could point out that the Evoque is almost as wide as the RRS (there's about 2 inches in it) so narrow lanes are no different. Commuting is nicer in the RRS too - commuted in both so talking from experience.

Basically, tell her the RRS is staying and she can buy something girlie for herself if she wants a change!
