Drivers seat/ mirrors totally dead, ticking noise

Hi

Sorry if this ones been on here before but I searched and couldn't see an answer.
On a Range Rover Sport 2006 the drivers seat intermittantly emits a ticking noise like a relay.
The mirrors on both sides aren't working and the drivers seat has stopped working.
I disconnected the battery then unplugged and checked and reconnected every plug under the seat.
I am content everything is well connected. I pulled the seat fuse and the ticking stopped.
I'm feel the fault is the seat memory module but it's over £100 and I just want some confirmation before I throw money at it.

Thanks

Adam

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Hi Adam

I have the same problem, did exactly the same as you and am now in the market for a new memory seat module. I think the part number is YWC500800 but am trying to find out if this also controls the mirrors.

If you buy one before me could you post the part number and also if it worked. And i will do the same when mine arrives.

Thanks Adam

Alastair

I tried a secondhand module and it did not fix the problem, after a long time of reading wiring diagrams I found that a red and white wire on the memory module wasn't getting power, I made a new fused cable 5amp .5mm cable and used the Thick green/brown live wire as a spur. It now all works again.😀
