Is the honeymoon over so soon.......?

......we've only just got to know each other.

Just 2 months of ownership of my 37,000 mile 2010 5.0 s/c and was loving every minute.
I noticed that over the last week or so that putting it into access height would sometimes result in a reply of Extended Height!
I just considered it to be an LR 'quirk". However, while having 2 front tyres fitted today, I noticed that the front of the car seemed to be in access mode. I also had the tracking checked and adjusted (which is a whole new story of incompetence!), and while driving home had all sorts of warnings about lack of stability control and brake assist etc. and how I could possibly die.

These warning went away when I re-started the car but the suspension is definitely not right as I checked all the heights and the front does not move at all. I have a LR warranty so hopefully this will come into play but I'm wondering if I'm OK to drive it while the front is at access height?

Oh yes, when I start the car now it asks me to 'confirm suspension settings'.

Simon

Sounds as though you're height sensors (or associated wiring) might be up the creek. Might just need a proper calibration though. Thumbs Up

If the suspension is really uneven then I wouldn't drive it too much but you should be OK if you take it steady (but bear in mind that it could throw a hissy fit and leave you stuck). Wink Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Thanks, Lost of Words, the 'hissy fit' comment made me laugh for the first time today.

Well, when we're talking air suspension, it really is a hissy fit! Laughing Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
