Just to go into my purchase with open eyes (if I can get a good deal), what's the most common problems and are most fixed now? I found 30 pages of problems/questions on RangeRovers.net but that's a lot to go through. Anyone got a summary of recalls and problems?

Main problems seem to be with the pain work - this is the only problem that is really detectable before you accept the vehicle - is the paint work is bad reject the car, I know it will be difficult but will save you heaps of time in the longrun. By the time you would get a RRS all otner problems that some of us have had should have been sorted but who's to say new ones wont arise. Basic problems we have had - Steering vibration, coolant level sensor, tailgate struts, bits missing, suspension sensors and parking sensors not switching on. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Old or new ? - whatever car ? You will always find problems - some people out there will have been running a RRS problem free............. but we just dont hear from them |

Well... apart from ~10 mpg fuel consumption, i had no serious worries with my rrs s/c  2014 Mercedes-Benz S500
