I read recently TG earns more money for the BBC than any other programme. Remove him and no TG. Another channel would lap him up. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

Spiffing wheel centre caps available

More well orchistrated positive negative PR for him and the series I think. He's been on thin ice for a while now given the stupidness of the BBC Political Correctness Dept and various MP's who seek their own publicity by jumping on the bandwagon, not to mention the tabloids and the "rent an outrage" mobs who are always seeking an excuse to warm up their keyboards!

Yes he's getting a bit too big for his boots but are the BBC really going to kill the goose which lays their golden egg? Wouldn't be surprised if he's already got a back up deal in the bag with Sky.

He's well passed his sell by date. Need some fresh faces preferably female. How about the German girl that drives transit vans round the Nerberg Ring. Can't recall her name.

Sabine Schmitz. She's a bit busy being a racing driver and German TV presenter I think.

I would think that if the BBC does drop Top Gear (like they effectively dropped F1) then the whole team will be lapped up by Sky. The BBC will have lost a major revenue earner. Still, they can just keep showing antiques programmes and reruns of the Royal Variety Show...although I do enjoy Masterchef and the sewing bee thing (yes, really - can't sew a stitch myself but...).

Let's face it - JC and the lads have made plenty of money from Top Gear over the years so they'll hardly be crying in to their beer tonight. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If I am not mistaken, he owns the format and production company with his ex* wife Francine. He could easily export it to another channel. I'll nudge him on Twitter to see if I can find out more about what occurred. He does reply to questions occasionally.

It seems he gave an asshole producer a little slap, and the BBC PC machine suspended him and pulled the show on Sunday and the next 2 episodes. You heard it here first......

There is a brief BBC press release here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/statement...-top-gear/ Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

If the BBC made him director general then Clarkson's problems would be solved and BBC revenue would go through the roof. He could transition all BBC shows to the Top Gear format. For example, Masterchef would involve processed food fights, antiques roadshow would involve smashing up Ming vases, and Question Time would have the panel playing musical chairs hushed behind anonymous helmets. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Problem is the BBC have let him become bigger than the show and that's left them well and truly up the creek…….it'll be interesting to see who's got the bigger balls. Apparently he's on £600k/year and worth £30m, but the Beeb make £150m out of the whole TG thing…….. Thud

I'd like to see him go. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

He sold his share back to the BBC in 2012 so they now own it outright.

Still I think the trio are the show and could easily move to another start-up show. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled
