Fight back time guys & gals. Don't let the Government get away with it. Vehicle tax on our cars is way over priced as we all know. Time to fight back.

i don't know too much about this petition website and how it operates, but why wasn't the petition put on the gov.uk petition website (if it makes any difference at all, not the petition but where you put it) Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

Surely this needs to be on the number 10 website, that way when it gets 100k 'signatures' it gets a debate in the house. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

I'm not so sure it's an issue that needs fighting. I'd bet the cost to the country (and hence us) of doing the refunds is probably greater than the bit we'd get back. Always have to think about the ultimate bottom line on these things. If we get a few quid back on the occasional VED but overall tax take to pay for it increases then we're still getting stuffed.
