it's still on going i'me afraid bomber, it's off the road this week getting some cosmetic work done but i'll start again on monday, thanks anyway bomber

I have an 07 plate tdv8 and I had the dreaded knocking, the garage changed all the joints and bushes and nothing made any difference, still the same knocking I then found out from this forum that it didn't have the mass dampers fitted, so £130 later and it's like a new car, no knocking or noises at all very happy now 😃

i have now had 5 mechanics have a look at car with the annoying knocking from the front end, they have checked and double checked the bushes and nothing, now 1 of them said it could be a strut. It's looking like i'me going to have to take it to the dealership and pay the £90 an hour

if you are ever down lancaster way i will stick it over the pit and have a look for you mate

The ARB bushes can appear to have no play in them, but replacing them does cure the noise, assuming it is not coming from the lower arms

I would like to thank everyone that replied to the knocking problem, yes most of you were right it was the ARB bushes.Went to landrover dealership, got the parts the mechanic fitted them, it's like driving a new car
