Most UK TDV6s don't have DPF filters

I don't think a DPF was even offered as an option for the 2.7 Tdv6. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

Do not know about the UK, but my 2006 TDV6 did have it. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

Anyway i saw on autoscout24 and so many rrs had the engine changed from 40000 to 200000 km
I supposed that the Lion v6 it Was a fragile engine. After lot of search i understood that is because of the dpf filter
When it comes full, the Diesel injected into it to clean the filter goes back in the motor and in the lubrication oil
This causes obvious problems of lubrication

Given the other issues with the TDV6 (oil filter, oil pump & bearing shells) I would be surprised if you could isolate DPF induced failures.

I'm not aware of any issues with the DPF but the non-DPF versions are still able to lunch themselves with failure modes shared with the DPF versions. Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Give terraclean a try, they clean out the dpf as good as new and a huge saving of many ££££s
