Once you have that, you can plug whatever you want in.

That sounds very interesting - do you have a link with more info on how to do this please? Could you hook up a reversing camera to it for instance?

Sorry, should have been more specific - I'm interested in knowing how to gain access to the inputs on the screen without having to purchase a GVIF

It's not really my area of expertise but I can explain a little.

Firstly, you need one of these - http://www.disco3.co.uk/shop/nav-screen-ca...e-p34.html This allows you to plug the camera (or another feed) into one of the ports on the back of the screen. I believe the middle plug is for the reversing camera.

With this, you can then access the feed from the hidden menu. The camera will not work automatically, yet. Unfortunately, while any of the inputs can be shown via the hidden menu, even if enabled, the DVD and TV buttons will not work without the DVD + RSE or TV systems fitted as applicable.

To get the camera to work automatically, it will have to be enabled in the CCF and the screen put into Range Rover mode. This is done by cutting one of the wires connected to the screen to trick it into thinking it's a FFRR (the software is already there ). Thanks LfW - that looks like a brilliant weekend project for when the weather is warmer.

Not only could I get a reverse camera working but also access my phonebook, radio and other stuff on the screen. Sounds like a win win to me
