My Nearside Door will not Lock/unlock with remote. It clicks but nothing hapens.It has to be locked/unlocked with the door lock tag on door lock release on inside of door. Any ideas anyone,and are the part easily accesable itisme

Hi, yes another well known problem. The electric door latches seem to lose their mojo with age (don't we all!). A new door latch used to be about £70 but then the @soles at JLRin charge of spares prices noticed they were selling lots so put the price up to about £100. If you search this site and the Disco3 site there are some great how to posts with pictures on how to replace the latches. I've only done the driver's door one on mine but I think I read the rear doors are a bit more fiddly. Definitely a possible DIY but you really need a nice warm day and just take your time.
