If you want hear your music how the artist, producer and mixing engineer wanted you to then listen in stereo. Very little music is mixed for those surround sound settings.

I find that the Dolby became too "Treble'y" for my liking at any volume over 20-25, Meridian seemed to be a better all rounder. Again, thats just me and to be fair it was tested whilst a friend (an audiophile) was playing Chase&Status (I think thats what they were called) from his iphone in lossless (whatever that is)!! |
