Fantastic bit of kit. On the 2011 models they've given it a remote so that you can worm the interior before getting in the car. Remote driver next!! |

i take it that it is the bit of kit that looks like a small exhaust pipe under the bonnet (thought it was something to do with aircon) - mine is always garaged at night so i presume thats why i havent experienced the engine fire! i thought that was an optional extra?

thats the fellow!!, as the pipe coming from the silencer looked like it was running down to the ground i assumed it was the aircon pipe, and the silencer was some sort of cooling thingy!

be careful if you have excessive smoke it can be terrible I had a SERIOUS problem with mine the Sport was in the Dealers for 6 MONTHS!!!!! Finally after threats of legal action it was sorted and so far so good.. |

Happened to me last night putting the car away. Filled the garage with smelly smoke and thanks to this topic I just chuckled to myself! |

had the same problem this morning after switching on the heated screen to defrost it, smoke everywhere from the front left side, was about to ring the dealers to book it in, quick google search brought up this thread |

All of the diesels have it uk spec. Hot climates don't have them.

Never really thought of it, probably cause we didnt really ever need it, as both the cars are parked in the garages overnight,
