Intergrated Bluetooth Audio Solution

So since getting our Disco4 the other month, I've been looking for an integrated Bluetooth audio solution Idea as it was something I liked in my MY12 RRS, I have recently got and fitted this. It's a tune2air Bluetooth adaptor and works brilliantly with the LR 30 pin 'i' connector. Which I think for the RRS is MY10-MY12 Question

It allows control of the iPhone/iPod via the dashboard buttons or the steering wheel and will work in parallel to the B/T phone connection. Cool

Cost me £47 from Amazon, so not pocket busting.

Worth looking at if you want an integrated B/T solution. Smile A few pictures of it installed and of the display screen.

That looks cool. So what does it give you that the standard Bluetooth doesn't?

In my RRS10 i have bluetooth, from that i can make and receive phone calls on my iphone.

This allows you to Bluetooth stream music without having your phone connected by a wire. eg get in and play music whilst phone is still in your pocket. You can have simultaneous connections so the phone part of B/T is still available.

You can control the playlists tracks etc via the touch screen. There are cheaper B/T solutions, but they don't allow you to control the device like this one Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Just to clarify BRO, you have the LR 'i' lead ?
The tune2air is only the adapter that goes on the end of the 30 pin plug on the LR cable. Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

So if I understand correctly you gain the Bluetooth music streaming but lose the option to charge the phone?

BC, just curious ... isn't the D4 same as RRS? I had a 2014 Disco loaner a couple of months ago and BT/audio/phone appeared to be the same as my RRS - phone connecton and audio streaming working simultaneously and wirelessly. I think it also supported having a BT connection to one phone for calls and to a different phone for music at the same time, same as the RRS Confused Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

fkarim - yes it is MY12+, we have a MY10 though Smile

myfirstrrs - you don't lose the option, just means you don't 'have' to connect for music streaming if you don't need to charge Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
