Moving on............

Well, after a year of my HSE dynamic I've decided to move on.
Will I regret it ? Time will tell !!
I've enjoyed owning it but I don't really use it. ( 4500 miles in a year )
My wife likes being a passenger but hates driving it, especially parking it! ( hence the low mileage ! )
So it's a smaller car for me now, RS4 Avant looks likely next.
Been offered £64,500 for it from a Landrover dealer which I thought was ok.
Any opinions folks Question

I got two prices for my 2011 HSE lux from a main dealer then a quote from webuyanycar.cam they offered 4500 more from 1 dealers price and then 2500 more from the other dealer.
Went smoothly stuck to the offer they quoted will use again.

there's been a advert on the radio saying that garage network "Evans Hallshaw" will beat any webuyanycar valuations, if you have one local, then might be worth a call Idea

Got rid of my RRS also and changed over to a 2015 Audi RS4.

Best move I have ever made.

Good luck.

When I sold my SDV6 I wrote a lengthy email with pictures and sent it to about 12 LR dealer principles saying best offer gets it. I had about 3 replies with offers more or less in the same ballpark and was going to go with the best offer but a private buyer saw my pistonheads ad and wired the money the next day. Ended up with £1500 more than best dealers offer and it was a very simple process, although I appreciate not all are like that.

Worth asking dealers nationally if they're interested. If they've got someone specifically after your spec of car they might be happy to pay you a bit more if they know they can shift it on quickly. SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

SOLD - 64 plate Aleutian Silver Supercharged

SOLD - 63 plate Corris SDV6 Autobiography

But judging by your profile that wasn't an RRS2...

Good luck with the Audi, I had one and so did SWMBO and I thought they were rubbish but each to their own. Thumbs Up Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:

2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE in Santorini Black

^^^ Which Audis did you have and when? RS4 does what it is meant for better than RRS (1 or 2) and the RRS does what it is meant for better than RS4. Obviously diiferent types so any comparison is pointless but RS4 is a cracking car. The quattro system works well in snow too. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone
Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory

Regardless of the model and or age of the RRS I was previously driving, I made no mention in my post as to whether or not I thought they were 'rubbish'. In fact I rather enjoyed it during the time I had it. The RS4 is much more suited to my current needs.

Thanks for the well wishes though, much appreciated.

RS4 is a great car had a b7 loved every minute. Will handle snow and ice on roads with ease and will certainly go round corners quicker than RRS but you cannot see the views. Horses for courses.

Thanks for all your responses guys, all pretty positive it seems.
Like someone said, it will be more suitable for our needs than the RRS.
I know the RS4 has been out for a few years but it's still looks a great car AND I've had a quote with a massive discount and great finance rate.
Quote from land rover was about £1200 more than webuyanycar for my RRS but not had a punt around with it yet.
I'm not going to tell my wife about the performance of the Audi and as she will never put petrol in it she shouldn't find out Whistle

Well I've ordered the RS4 with delivery for June ( hopefully! )
But I keep looking out of the window at the RRS.............
I really hope I'm not going to regret this.
RRS going this week. Sold to one of my customers for £64k. Tax and service due so i won't have to do that at least.
Think I'am going to book a week in the sun to take my mind off it!! Big Cry
