T cut will remove the fine scratches, with a bit of elbow grease. MY2007 RRS TDV8 Black - tinted glass - side steps- stormer grille - 20" diamond cut alloys - alpaca leather - TV/DVD pack - some blingy chrome bits & bob's |

Thanks. I'll give that a try and use some of the black hole and report back. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

I would definitely use a good but gentle polish but T cut is too abrasive in my opinion

Any good car polish will remove surface blemishes and fine scratches as its only the top coat (lacquer) which is scratched. As said above good elbow rub and you'll be fine. |

The more abrasive the polish the more lacquer it removes… depends on the severity of the swirls …

I would consider putting a glaze and coat of wax on first in case you could get away with that, as glaze has no cutting ability be safer on the panel. |

I would have thought most polishes would make it worse as they would introduce more fine scratches and you can't break the polish down sufficiently by hand to get a decent finish. I'd try and glaze or sealant first too. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I tend to remove the piano blacks from the interior and correct them on the mini bigfoot. But black hole glaze will silicone filler the defects to a certain degree. Thus giving the appearance of a better surface finish.
