Not sure a spare wheel cover is really needed? Esp.for the superchareged as it doesnt come with a full spare alloy wheel. SO, as you have said, I think best just keep a pair of gloves in the boot undertray cubby hole. |

Didn't you guys get a pair of LR branded leather riggers gloves in the moulded holder in the boot? I have a pair of very cheapo LR gloves in the back stowage with mine!

I didn't. Maybe the dealer puts these in. Or maybe the dealer helps themselves to them! Matt ------------------------------------------- RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance! |

Slightly off the subject, I was lucky enough to get a brand new 19” RRS sport wheel off eBay for £80.00. It didn’t include the tyre, but I just know that I will damage a rim at some time....which I have to have repaired immediately, yes, I am that sad. So having a real spare makes the whole drama less emotional.

Just seemed like common sense really, if you have to change a wheel at night in winter you'll need a torch of some kind, gloves cos the spare will be filthy and probably wet, hand wipes for afterwards cos lord know what you'll get on you that you don't want to transfer to your clothes or the car's interior.

This is the type of thing I had in mind, I may order one next time I get stuff from Screwfix. I reckon it will pack down quite small.
