Wow thank you all so much for all the informative replies! I will certainly be armed and forewarned what to look out for and I am prepared to walk away at the first sign of something just not quite right.

We are lucky that my OH and I both have an A5 each so one A5 going and other staying so we have nice coupe when needed and the RRS (when we get one) as snow vehicle, dog taxi, horse transport tower and elderly parents taxi as they really can not get in and out of the A5! The RRS is a vehicle that covers all needs but also the comfort where our L200 lacked comfort.

Need to print off that check list and find the right motor now. I am sure I will be back for hints and tips for repairs etc however careful we buy! I will put an update up when vehicle found!

Thanks for the tip Ady555. I have actually seen a discovery with one of these on today and wondered what the shiny silver thing was underneath!

We are going to look at one on Sunday so will let you know how it goes! Excited now! Printed the check sheet out so can go through everything.

She is a black 2.7 HSE on 2006 plate. 95k. I took the check list from forum to check everything! All checks out and cam belt etc was done at 76k. Got all her service history. She has stomer kit and 22" wheels on too. Purchased 24 month warranty as well. So excited can't sleep!

She is home! Keep going to look at her out of the window.....haven't tried to get her in garage yet will wait for daylight to see if she is going to fit. My hubby is like a dog with two tails with excitement getting our RRS! Not sure he is going to let me or the horse near it!

Glad we have warranty as read so many stories of problems that it did initially put me off!

Hate to burst your bubble flinders but it looks like a standard hse witth 22" wheels, if you google rangerover sport hst that's what a stormer kit is

No bubbles burst baxc invoice says stormer kit, grill and exhaust on a HSE not really looked at actual stormer kit just knew it has a different grill, side vents, exhaust and 22" wheels to the other ones we been viewing. Weren't looking for a HST just got a few extras on this one more than we expected
