Merry Christmas all, hope everyone has had a good one. I have just arrived home having spent it down on the coast with the folks and all was going fine until we got 20 minutes from home and the dashboard light up like the proverbial Christmas tree!!

The warning lights were:

Brake Systems
Suspension Systems
Dynamic Stability Control

We also had the following error messages flash up:

Parking Brake Fault
HDC Not Working
Suspension Lowered
Transmission Fault

I have had a quick Google and have check brake lights (working) so I’m hoping it’s just the battery that might be playing up however before I end up in the garage has anyone else had this situation just so I can be prepared?!

yes had the lights up was the alternator and I changed the battery as well

I think the brake light switch is a common fault that has also been known to cause these warnings...a fairly cheap and simple fix I believe. Carl

Have you had the fault codes read ?
If not and your near enough to windsor /ascot I could read them for you

Sounds more like the alternators over charging, check the volts on it, could even be a brake light switch.
Could even be something totally different.

Have you changed a brake bulb recently? 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
