I have...but unless a long journey is forthcoming, I keep the tank under half full. |

I don't know if it applies to rrs but some fuel tanks have baffle plates to stop this. Maybe one has come adrift.??

This used to drive me mad and I complained about it from day one.

It's very annoying. There's no way you can't hear it if you have the problem.

I could hear the fuel sloshing the first week I got the car. Like you say, very annoying when you can hear it.

Its not just a problem with RRS, my pal has had his Jaguar in for the same problem. They fitted baffle plates to his fuel tank too. Why these issues arn't picked up on on test of these vehicles, is beyond me. |

Agree, its the type of thing that you would find in old 1980s cars not 2014. Back to school for some motor engineers. |

I'm afraid the only noise the LR people can hear is the sound of them patting themselves on the back. Mark

I first read this thread about a month ago and I must admit that I thought what on earth were you guys talking about! Then this afternoon whilst manouvering around a car park, I heard the sloshing noise for the first time and it was quite pronounced. I'm well attuned to picking up new noises from my cars and this is definitely the first time this sloshing noise has occured. Is it possible that in some cars, the fuel tank baffles collapse earlier than others which is why I haven't heard sloshing in my car until now after some 1500 miles? |

Reversing in car park today and heard dreaded sloshing sound looked in back and found half full bottle of water thought thank God for that.
