United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

What vehicle are you running? I have a 2010 HSE, when purchased, I asked them to programme the lights to be 'always on', LR told me that it could not be done and that I would have to turn the lights on everytime I started the car. I then explained that this could be done as it is programmed on the cars in Finland and some other Scandanavian Countries Smile

My 'daytime Led's' and Xenon headlights now come on with ignition Smile

Much safer way of driving ( I'm an ex Motorcycle rider, old habits die hard) RRS 2010

Bought my RRS 2010 HSE in Italy and live in Sweden. LR Dealer re-programmed for "Scandinavian" and then you have day running lights front and back (I think there is another option for other countries with only front...).

In addition I keep light switch in automatic so it "automatically" turn on instrumentation light during night. Instrumentation light is not turned on by day running lights option. RRS 2010 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Do you have the new interior and if so do you have bluetooth in your car? Supposedly there should be bluetooth in mine but it doesn't work and struggling to find out if it is fitted or not. Not visible when dealer run diagnostic on the car. RRS 2010 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Can anybody tell me the difference between Scandanavian DRLs and Canadian DRLs??? I have the option on my 2006 SC to select either using the IID Tool but don't know the difference. Ideally all I want is that on ignition the side lights come on automatically, which in turn will turn on the 'halo rings' installed around the headlights...

Thanks in advance

Ok found out myself whilst waiting at the airport. Basically, Scandanavian turns on the headlights, whilst Canadian turns on the fog lights when drive or reverse is selected. Well at least in mine....

So no possiblity of sidelights only Sad Back to turning lights on and off manually then Sad

Cheers

Hi Guyzer, when you say that the Scandinavian option in the CCF turns on the headlights, do you mean the full low beam or just the angel eye led side lights. As that is what I am trying to find out. Just ordered an IIDTool and was hoping I could edit the CCF to use the angel eye side lights as DRLs.

If not, I suppose I will have to settle for the Canadian option and use the fog lights.

Cheers,

Jeff

Jeff,

We've got different MYs.I'm running a 2006, you a 2011. You'd need to check specific to your vehicle set up and software. On mine at least scandanavian meant low beams not side lights.

Not sure what options the 2010+ models have.

Sorry can't help further.

Regards
