The FL2 is a fine vehicle if you haven't driven one of the bigger LRs e.g. RRS. If you stepped in to the FL2 from a normal car or one of the far east 4x4 you'd be more than happy with it. It's a good drive, handles pretty well, is accomplished off road (for something that isn't permanent 4WD and doesn't have a low range gearbox etc.).

The problem for us is that we have driven the bigger LRs and therefore the FL2 feels down market in comparison, bouncy, thrashy, noisy etc. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Welcome back mate, I hate the Freelanders Shocked I had one about 4 years ago and always wished I was in a RRS. I did wonder when I came round to collect the oil service kit from you WHY ??? you got a Freelander........good luck in your search keep us updated.

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

Undecided on tdv8 or 5.0sc....

I have both, go for the 5.0 Supercharger awesome car and sod the mpg. The noise and get up and go is something else.
