Interesting, although Siri does a pretty good impression of this. 

I agree, though Land Rover appear to be supporting both Apple and Android devices. The strategy appears to remain in control of what apps can appear on the console and the apps that do have to confirm to Land Rover rules. An interesting approach but I can't help thinking this could be difficult to manage, especially around the time of operating system upgrades when apps often stop working until the developers get updates out. That is all out of the control of Land Rover. The justDrive app appears to add another layer of integration complexity. Land Rover appears to be investing in the underlying technology, fingers crossed the strategy works and is sustained over the life of the car.
