Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

I don't know the UK market as well as some but I would say its 1500-2000 quid over priced. The photos are rubbish. If one wants to sell a car, at least take some effort with the advertisement.

I wouldn't touch this one without a VERY detailed pre purchase inspection by an RRS Specialist. Private sale, no warranty, high miles, this one would not be for me. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
Gone - 2009 Buckingham Blue RRS 2.7 TDV6
Gone - 2010 Alaska White RRS 5.0 V8 Aspirated
Gone - 2017 Chawton White RRS 5.0 V8 Supercharged
Current - 2010 Java Black RRS 5.0 V8 Aspirated
Current- 2024 RRS P400 SE Dynamic

The price isn't too bad but the advert annoys me a lot. It's not your fault she's had a problem with a previous buyer and I don't like the aggressive nature of it. Rightly or wrongly- that would be enough to put me off the car.

I agree with the above comments especially the one about the photos. If you're going to list something regardless of price at least make sure the photos are half decent and the description makes it look as though you care!!

It's not an HST.....it's got too many miles on it and to many $$$ as an asking price. Next........ Thumbs Up
I would guess it's for sale as it has a long list of expensive repairs to be done and the careless owner ( you don't loose spare keys) would probably be capable of eating you for breakfast and your wallet as teatime snack. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Just so i know what i should be looking at, how much should a TDV8 Genuine HST , 08, 100k be going for then?

HST has a premium so if a standard HSE is worth 18-20k with low to average miles then expect to pay that for high mileage genuine HST rather than a wanna-be. And make sure it says HST in both service book label and V5. Lots of folk bolting on bits and calling cars what they think their average bus should be called. Whistle same goes for later Autobiography models. It's a bit like bolting the panels on your 2.0 tdi and calling it an RS4. No bloke it ain't Rolling with laughter 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Good advice, thanks. Would buying a 100k HST be a wise option though? At 100k should i be asking questions on certain items that should have been replaced? turbo's for one.

It's your money, etc. Big Cry
This has been covered before, I personally wouldn't buy a LR with big miles, to many things to go wrong, most pass hands because they have bluffed an expensive repair to pass the bill. Several cars with management bulbs removed, pumps wrapped in foam to quieten them down.
These cars are not cheap to run even when they work, get a duff one and it will put your lights out 👊. Warrantees are hard and expensive to come by over 100k so buyer beware.
If you can , hold off until a nice car comes along and pay a bit more than current budget and buy some peace of mind. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
