Heated Windscreen Query

Hi,

First decent frost of the year this morning so decided to make sure my heated windscreen is working.

The good news is that the electric heating is working, the not so good news is that there are vertical areas on both sides of the screen where the elements are not getting hot.

Could this be because a problem with the connectors on each side of the screen, or does this mean I need a new windscreen?

If it could be the connectors, how do I get at them?

Thanks in advance. Very Happy

i think it means the screens Censored i think the screen is split in 2 heater wise, 2 fuses, my passenger side don't work . both fuses good, and the driver side is stripey but i can live with that

The screen is split into 4 areas; left, right plus a heated area under each wiper. As already said it, sounds like individual elements have gone and there is nothing short of a new screen that can fix them. Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Thanks for the responses, if the weather stays mild I probably won't replace the windscreen until I have a few more chips and can make a valid insurance claim.
