put your hand under the front passenger seat and un plug unit for a few minutes then re plug and see how you go |

Probably a stupid suggestion but I presume you're stationary when you try it? Otherwise it won't work |

Yes I am stationary and in park,the previous destinations work if selected and will calculate the route if selected, just cant get to the postcode or address screens,when I press these buttons the green square around the button highlights and the dvd runs up but nothing happens ? |

Easy peasy. Unlock car and remove key, open bonnet and leave for at least 5 mins until everything powers down (car goes to sleep). Disconnect both positive and negative battery leads from the battery posts. Take a single jump lead and connect the positive battery lead to the negative battery lead for a few minutes. TAKE GREAT CARE NOT TO LET ANY PART OF THE JUMP LEAD OR THE BATTERY LEADS TOUCH THE BATTERY TERMINALS.
