Funny noise :/

Hi all just wondering if someone could help!
After years of saving I bought my dream car only 2 weeks ago, it's a 2006 rrs 2.7hse
When I bought it I new it needed front wheel bearings as they were a little noisy so a friend replaced them for me, now the wheel bearing noise has gon I can hear another noise, the only way I can describe it is like your constantly driving over the shevrons on the road which as you speed up the noise gets faster and as you slow down it gets slower.
If anyone can help I would be so grateful
Many thanks
Steve

Anti-roll bar D Bushes or drop links. Not a big job but sounds like what it is.

Steveo, do the revs 'bounce' whilst it is doing it?

Another member on here recently had the same 'cattle grid' effect as he called it. It needed a replacement Torque Converter. Did you get it from a dealer or private sale? Was it evident on the test drive?

It's possible that a gearbox reset and Transfer box recalibration may help, although I suspect that it would also come back quite quickly if it is the TC.
I'm not far from you if you need faults read or any updates to the new toy once you've ironed out this problem. Thumbs Up (In fact I also help run Meole Brace Explorer Scouts so am over there reasonably regularly) Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Hey thanks for your response
No the revs stay as normal and tbh I didn't notice it during the test drive or driving it home from Cardiff also drove to Nottingham and back and didn't notice it, it's only the last few days it's come to my attention oh and it was a private sale so no returns :/

Something to think about! It could be tyres? I have read on here that if you run on 20" wheels and tyres and the car has stood of some time that they get flat spots. Maybe take it out for a long drive to warm the tyres up and see if it gets better!
Hope it's nothing to clever and a simple fixs.
