Suspension strut lifespan

Hi all, just wondering what lifespan can be expected from RRS struts? Mine have done 160k km and the shocks are stuffed. I can get some off a car that has done 40k km and drives really well for about half price - is it worth it?

Thanks for your opinions Regards, Marty

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Have replaced Both my fronts, one at 64k and one at 75k - miles that is not KMs. They were original so I don't think that is too bad considering the weight of the car.

Is it really worth using second hand parts on a car like this?? What if they have been damaged, for me suspension and brakes are worth spending on - remember LR give you a 2 year warranty as well so piece of mind there too. TDV8 Java Black, Overfinch 22s
