I did Stansted to the Excel postcode (E16) and it came up as £46 for the journey in a bog standard saloon. As with all taxi services, they are a complete ripoff but at least it would be convenient.

I wouldn't pay £100 in taxi fares out of my own pocket, but I doubt you'll get it much cheaper.... It at least gives you peace of mind. Should've flown into City! Wink

city = flight for 900 Euros instead of 120 Euros and i would have to stay overnight = my wife would have sealed our house and my cars ...

Inconvenient and long winded, but cheaper I expect.

Stansted Express down to Liverpool St then over to Bank to jump on DLR, changing at Westferry for Royal Victoria. You might be able to get a bus from Liverpool St too...

Then Angel has to do the reverse trip in the evening!
