United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

brilliant here goes:

supplier 1 - 3 loose filled 0.73 m3 hardwood bags for £200, moisture content 15%. This equates to approx 205kg of hardwood per bag. The cost per kWh is 7.45 pence.

supplier 2 - let's suppose the bags are the same 0.73 m3 size, mixed hardwood/softwood, moisture content 25%. This equates to approx 191kg per bag. The cost per kWh is 6.95 pence.

supplier 3 - 2m3 of sacked hardwood for £250, moisture content 15%. This equates to approx 440kg hardwood per m3. The cost per kWh is 6.52 pence.

Thumbs Up Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

That's very interesting as I was going to buy the 3 bags of hardwood! Which I thought was the best option!!!!!
Interestingly tho the price per kw is very similar.
I had the national company as the dearest lol

Thank you very much for the information

I've just seen the advert from the national supplier. Let's suppose the moisture content is 19%, as they state it's "under 20%". In this case the cost per kWh is approx 6.8 pence. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

pleasure Rich, just be sure that the 4 builders bags guy is selling genuine seasoned firewood (<25% moisture), and that its not mainly softwood. Otherwise the calculation changes significantly. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

Hi just seen your reply kp, thanks for the offer but I only have use of a small trailer.
I'm not sure a Rrs and small trailer would be a very economical way of getting wood from Manchester.

That is unless I can get the 3.5 tone trailer from my friend and fill it to the top lol 😃

Thanks again for the offer

I was looking at the price of logs around here and not too impressed with the price for a builders bag.

I just bought one of these ace little briquette making jobbies called a Multimate, made by a bloke in Wigan:

Now we have no use for our waste paper bin, and a use for all the junk mail and even leaves from the garden go in. Mr. Green

The ones I have tried already that have dried are not bad and do burn for ages. Obviously you must mix them with coal or wood for best use, but they are about as green as it gets. And free.
