Tyre advised needed

Had my tyres checked today I currently Pirelli on the rear and continentals on the front. I was advised that the passenger side front had worn on the inside advised rather than just changing the passenger side change both front tyres and have wheel alignment done. The chap has 2 Pirelli tyres in stock we he can do a deal on. Is ok to switch from continentals to Pirellis on the front?
Suggestions welcome.

All tyres perform differently so the best thing you can do is fit the same brand all round, ideally the same model, so go for it.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
