brake click

Hi all. Me again with another question. I have noticed a clicking sound when I touch the brake. I've not tested on a run yet as I just got home and didn't notice while driving as had the stereo on but will check tomorrow. The clicking seems to be coming from the stee ring wheel or column. I can sort of feel it slightly too as if it's a solonoid or large relay. Is this normal as I haven't noticed it before.

I believe there is a solenoid interlock between the brake pedal and gear selector

Lol, I agree with the paranoia!! Every vibration, squeek or sound, and the radio goes off, heating off, and windows closed...

This for a mile or so, then I google it..... Whistle

Don't think Il ever be happy until I have a silent car.... And I'm not going buying electric! 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)
