Normally i hate the rain and hate it even more when i have to drive in it.
But yesterday i had a ball in the RRS flying through Birmingham. The RRS is sooo sure footed and everyone else who were struggling to get through the almost torrential down pour, were looking at me in envy as i maintained the normal speed limits, and even ploughed through flooded areas of the roads while they all took deviated paths around the deep areas!

Also, the wipers work very well when there is actually a lot of water to clear, and the windows don't steam up at all..

Made it all seem even more worthwhile! and has made me want to see what this monster can really do off road.

Also just in passing LR this morning, they have a RRS on display on the front of their entrance gates, i think it was a grey diesel model, definitely not a SC as it had the grey grills.

I dont mind the rain..... but I do mind that my wipers are extremely noisy over the windscreen. I have cleaned the screen several times inc using a compound glass cleaner, but still they judder and sqeak!!!!!! Really annoying me now esp. as they are being used more & more. Will have to get into dealer when its piddling it down.... ASAP

If anyone happens to go onto the GTR site to look up something else, have a look for me if there has been any issues relating to noisy wipers.

i had just cleaned my RRS and when i took it out the garage it was pouring for the next 3 days...

i had done a very thorough cleaning seeing it rain and pour like that..
crush my desires to go out and show my new baby
