Bluetooth options for music & phone.

Hello all

I am new to the site and new to owning a RRS.

I have been looking at some options for music & phone for my rrs. I have the Harman kardon sound system but no factory phone.

Any input would be great.

People will tell you many different options on here. My advice is based on that all Harman group products are poo, and the range rover sport system is some of their finest poo!
For what you will spend on some phone/blutooth gizmo you could put in a better headunit that will play DVDs, have blutooth and sound so much better than the standard system for not much more

Did you mean to put that in ?

Tickled I that did....................

On a more serious note, I was watching a film in the car on my phone while waiting for someone. The audio from the film will not play through the speakers of the car. Even though the phone is connected to the car via bluetooth.

Even my Transit van does that............. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong ? Or is it not possible ?

2009 TDV8 with Kardon system ans Galaxy S5 phone.

I know on a Sony phone you have to click on 'Throw' before it will send non call audio to blutooth

The ''Input" was my idea of a pun.

I see that Parrot is quite popular but many different models and loom variations. Not wanting to repeat my self but any suggestions?

Why not get a Bluetooth adaptor from eBay that plugs in to your Aux socket and powers off USB? I bought one for £5 and it works a treat. Brand is Jazooli.

No worries. The one I have is similar to this one but with a Jazooli brand on it:

I have my Ipod plugged in as well and this powers off the USB in the armrest and connects to the 3.5mm AUX in by the rear seats.

This one seems the ideal component for the RRS.

Constantly powered, with a built in 3.5mm plug.
