I did my radio/cd fascia in carbon wrap it should give you some idea, I painted the hockey sticks and door handles black along with the air vents. Not everybody's cup of tea but I thought the radio/cd fascia looked a tad dull.........and when I get tired of the carbon I can always remove it.

Did you use a template for radio? |

No template James, just pulled the radio knobs off and placed the wrap over the whole fascia. I used a hairdrier to soften the wrap a little and let it mould to the fascia, smoothed it out and then used a sharp blade to cut around the various switches, CD insert and the screen. A bit fiddly working in the confines of the car.....took about half an hour. 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey

I don't think the brushed steel will make a huge difference to what you already have mate. The carbon will be a contrast to the black interior you have but in my opinion will make the interior VERY dark indeed, if that is what your after then go for the carbon. Maybe a carbon that is lighter than what you have chosen would be a better shout? 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey

you mean you have one sheet over the three sections of the dash? if so, very impressive. i was thinking to remove each panel and wrap them individually but that is not 30min job! how did you tuck the edges in to make sure they stuck down firmly? 07 TDV8 + BAS map |

Yes mate, one sheet over the three sections of the dash. I had just painted my air filters, door pulls and hockey sticks a few days before. After all the wrestling to remove trim, lost clips and general faffing abou involved in the painting I just couldn't handle more of the same with the radio/CD fascia If I had went down the remove route.
