Hi Folks, this is not so much a new topic so sorry for this question, my RRS has been fully serviced but not had the service indicator reset, it is now appearing on the dash, the question is can I simply reset it OR is it a visit to the stealers / local indy ?? I have read all the hold this button and turn on to position 1 or 2 but it does not seem to be working for us, is this true. 2007 HSE v6 just to ask will it start to limp home soon or is it just a warning ? |

Hi, thanks for the reply, I purchased it from sytner at London and it had a full service inc both cambelts, however I live near Wolverhampton so its a bit of a ride (again) in needed. I don't think they had the software to reset it there hence it's now showing up. |

I would give them a call and ask if they have a L/R franchise in their group somewhere nearer to where you live, and see if they can arrange with them for you to take it for a reset. If not, ask them if they will cover the cost for you to take it to your local L/R dealer. I think i was charged about £45.00 several years ago. |

I remember picking my RRS up from a LR dealer after it was serviced and noticed the indicator hadn't been reset, before driving off. I went back in and the service reception receptionist popped out and reset it herself………. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
