[Wanted] BAS interface

Looking for a BAS interface, old or new style, I don't mind.

Please let me know if you have one available.

Thanks

You should ask on the Disco Forum as well, there was one for sale on there last week In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Thanks SRE, just looked and it's already been sold! Sod's law, I looked on there about 3 weeks ago and there was nothing!

The search continues.

I've done that SRE and unfortunately he has no secondhand units and he hasn't mentioned any Christmas specials coming up!

£500 feels like a lot to spend on this.....I guess i'll be worn down eventually!

All I can say is that the BAS remap is good, plus you have the ability to revert your car back to standard prior to and dealer visit, this way if the dealer updates your ECU to a later level all is not lost.

The other big plus is the after care service from Pete Bow down

So begs the question, looking back, would I go down the BAS road....YES.

Plus £500 outlay, you can always sell the unit on if you change your car Thumbs Up Remember it's not just about BHP, it's about drivability, the BAS remap transforms the car.

Do a search on here and the Disco Forum, I doubt you will find anyone who will criticise the BAS remap. Thumbs Up In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

New units are £199 each plus cost of customised tuning file: https://secure.bellautoservices.co.uk/store/bas-remap-interface/

Even if you buy used, you still need to pay BAS for a file for your car. One s/h unit for sale on Defender2 for £165: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic32528.html I think it should work with RRS too but you can check with Pete.

As SRE said, you can sell the interface when not needed. That's what I did when I sold my TDV6. Obviously you don't get back the money spent on tuning file but that £180 (price of file at that time) was well worth it. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone
Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory
Gone: MY09 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black/Almond
