DAB

I keep thinking of fitting DAB but the only kit I can see is these CTDAB-LR2 anyone got any experience of them. They supply a windscreen mounted arial but then say should not be used with heated windscreens so what's the alternative route it down to one of the rear windows ?? Are there any other kits available that are worth looking at ?? 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

I shall follow this one closely - I'm interested in getting DAB in to my RRS too.

I did consider this one but haven't got any further than that:

2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I wouldn't bother wasting your money guys. Reception is crap at best. Unless you live in a very good reception area and never leave the bubble, you will be very disappointed. Whistle

You've just described the standard radio reseption around here in the sport it was better in my D3 which was S spec, the sport is a HSE but the radios are the same spec, thought it would be higher in the sport like logic 7. I get far better reseption in my wife's Freelander 2. Just a final moan why does my phone work perfectly in the Freelander but not in the sport ??? Moan over.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Ady, I got used to using the DAB fitted to the FL2 I had for a few days recently. Worked fine on my 45 mile commute and also during the day pottering around the rural bits of Berkshire.

I can use LW in the RRS for the cricket during the summer but I'd like some options for music at other times. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

RRSTDV8, you must have been in that good reception bubble i was on about. Laughing I'm sure the reception bubble will be getting bigger and with more updates our vehicles keep on getting, things will improve over time.
